Bio:

Dimitri Diatchenko began classical guitar lessons at the age of eight.  Two years later he gave his first solo classical guitar recital.  Dimitri has a Bachelor of Music degree from the Stetson University, and a Masters of Music degree from Florida State University, and has studied and played for a number of renown artists including Pepe Romero, David Rusell, Roland Dyens, Oscar Ghiglia, Carlos Barbosa-Lima, Scott Tennant, Andrew York, Bruce Holzman, Stephen Robinson, Ricardo Iznaola and Ben Verdery.

 

Dimitri is a first generation American from Ukrainian immigrants and considers his main musical influences as Elvis, Roy Clark and Segovia.  Presently, Dimitri lives in Los Angeles where he teaches privately and  performs regularly as a soloist and ensemble player, while enjoying an active career as an actor in T.V. and film.  Some of his credits include "Walker, Texas Ranger", "V.I.P", "Pensacola: wings of gold", "18 Wheels of Justice" and "G.I. Jane. "
