How to Choose the Right Guitar

• It is import to choose the right size guitar for the beginner.  Learning to play on the wrong guitar can lead to frustration, slow progress and the development of poor technique.
• The best way to measure a guitar is by it’s string length, also referred to as “scale length.  The scale length of a guitar is measured from the “bridge” of the guitar to the “nut” of the guitar.
• This measurement is usually done in centimetres.  A standard classical guitar has a 650 mm scale length (25.6 inches).
• When a child is between a 3/4 and 4/4 guitar in terms of their age or height, It’s preferably that they get the larger guitar as children grow quickly.
• We inspect each guitar we have to make sure that it is of quality, comfortable and playable, giving you or your children a better opportunity to learn.
