How to Choose the Right Guitar
It is import to choose the right size guitar for the beginner. Learning to play on the wrong guitar can lead to frustration, slow progress and the development of poor technique.
The best way to measure a guitar is by it’s string length, also referred to as “scale length. The scale length of a guitar is measured from the “bridge” of the guitar to the “nut” of the guitar.
This measurement is usually done in centimetres. A standard classical guitar has a 650 mm scale length (25.6 inches).
When a child is between a 3/4 and 4/4 guitar in terms of their age or height, It’s preferably that they get the larger guitar as children grow quickly.
We inspect each guitar we have to make sure that it is of quality, comfortable and playable, giving you or your children a better opportunity to learn.
